Our Story
There was a season in my life when I looked around and realized something.
The women I admired most were also the ones carrying the heaviest loads.
They were raising children, showing up for their families, working long days, serving in their communities, and somehow still finding ways to put everyone else first.
They gave so much of themselves that somewhere along the way, many of them forgot they mattered too.
If I'm being honest, I've been that woman too.
As a wife, a mother of five, and someone constantly balancing family, work, faith, and everyday life, I know what it feels like to keep going even when you're exhausted. I know what it's like to wonder if you're doing enough, while everyone around you continues to need more from you.
That's why Ho'omau means so much to me.
In Hawaiian, Ho'omau means to continue, to endure, to persevere.
It's more than a word.
It's a reminder.
A reminder to keep showing up.
To keep believing.
To keep loving.
To keep becoming the woman God created you to be, even on the days you don't feel your strongest.
I didn't create Ho'omau Threads because the world needed another clothing brand.
I created it because I believe women need more reminders that they are seen.
That they are loved.
That they are enough.
Every design we create carries that purpose.
Whether you're wearing a hoodie while cheering from the sidelines, a tee while running errands, or a hat on your next adventure, I hope it reminds you of something bigger than what you're wearing.
I hope it reminds you that you matter too.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for believing in this dream.
And thank you for becoming part of the Ho'omau 'Ohana.
With aloha,
Leah
